If you're still fighting the flu like I am...

I would suggest getting more liquids, full of vitamin C! While at the Farmers Market, I grabbed a bag of organic lemons and oranges. Later, I made some yummy tea with a few slices of lemons, which was very soothing. Oranges are also a great form of vitamin C, and I like mine as a mid day snack. Healthy and good for you. However, I did stop by a Ralphs today to get some more real meds and this was my purchase.

Some cough drops, so I don't annoy people around me with my cough. Some strawberry airborne to boost my vitamins level through out the day. As well as some night and day time meds. Since I do have a very busy life style and I'm always on the "go", I like the pill form for during the. However a dissolving form for my night time. After a long day I like to enjoy a hot cup of "lemony"tea, which by the way I also add slice of lemon to, before bed! Also, try to get a good rest of sleep! So if you are still sick, I hope this helps you! Lets fight this flu together!

As always,

Stay Classy My Friends :)

The South Coast of Iceland

Iceland! The land of so much more than ice. Volcanoes, canyons, countless waterfalls and wind that will blow you away, literally. Although the ice was practically non-existent, or at least the parts of the country that I encountered. The one place we did find ice it was absolutely, without a doubt, my favorite part of the trip. Never have I ever seen that kind of beauty. It’s a different kind of beauty than, say Bali (which is definitely my favorite place on earth), yet it was magical. The views were absolutely stunning. Something that didn’t even make sense to me was these huge blocks of ice we saw. They have been there for hundreds of years, and have never melted away. However, it’s not freezing and there is no snow. The water isn’t frozen! I’m so curious about how and why this is even possible? The ice was literally blue! So unreal.   Follow me on instagram for more images  @laasbella Stop number one: Diamond Beach Stop number two: Glacier Lagoon Diamond ...

Wink Wink...

There is a reason I go by Lala Koala... I love to sleep. On my days off I sleep on average of 13 hours a day.. not quite as much as a koala but pretty damn close.  The reason I chose this picture is because I do not know how to wink! :(  However I'm learning to and one day I'm hoping to post a picture of me winking. But for now enjoy the koala.  Be safe everyone, and Stay Classy :)

Yoga and Pilates

I'm not a fan of hot yoga. In fact, I hate it. I will not do it if you offer me a free membership. However, I love regular Yoga and Pilates. Yesterday I took a yoga class and today I spiced it up with Pilates. I like Pilates a little bit more than yoga because it's a little faster and a lot of abs! <3 As you all know, I'm working on my flexibility right now, so yoga is very beneficial. I want to share a few pictures with you of my yoga accomplishments. Im very proud of my skill and it is a lot easier to do than it looks. I start from downward dog, but on my elbows (as you can see) and walk my hands to my feet as close as I can. It's all abs so no need to push yourself up, slowly lift your legs with the strength of your core and find your balance in the air. Try next to a wall at first and see how well you can hold your balance up and continue practicing until you can stand on your own! Here is a video I just made at home, sorry ...
