Summer body tips by Lala Koala

Summer is creeping up so quick. I can't believe it is already almost april! It feels like New Years Eve was just last week!!!! I have been doing a lot of research of different work outs and "diets". By diet, I don't mean just a month of diet. What I mean is changing a lifestyle and nutritional plan.
I'm the worst eater. I hate most of the veggies. I can literally name you veggies I will eat in 20 seconds. My list is that short. However, I have been forcing myself to learn to like new things. In order to do that, I cook them. I start with frying. Unfortunately the vegetable looses all the nutrients by that stage and becomes irrelevant for the diet, but that is how I get used to the new taste. For example: the other day my roommate gets home and says "You must try this fried cauliflower!!!" I said EW, cauliflower? I hate cauliflower. She goes on and says she hates it too but her friend forced her one time to try fried version and she loved it. So I picked the smallest piece I could find and tried it! It was surprisingly very good! I would actually order a side of it on my own!

I decided to fry the veggie I don't like to develop some kinda of a taste for them. Eventually I can switch to steaming the veggies, which is a lot healthier than frying.

Another way to add more veggies to the diet is to juice. A friend of mine always juices veggies, which has inspired me to do the same.

What has motivated me more than anything though, is following a few people of instagram. People who post quotes, different ideas for healthy eating, delicious looking fruit pictures, variety of exercises and of course HOT HOT HOT pictures of female and male bodies. If you're looking for motivation you will definitely find it by following @getmydreanbody @tonedtannedandfitness

Now go get your life on track and get ready for summer <3

Bucket List Things...

Last summer I was fortunate enough to take a 3 month trip to Europe. It was surreal, I honestly didn't even have it on my bucket list. But some of the activities we did, were definitely checked off. Doing something that is written on my bucket list in real life, gives me an unbelievable satisfaction. On top of that awesome feeling, I also get motivated to achieve the next thing on my list. My list is endless! There is SO much I want to accomplish!  Today I want to share my experience doing something that has been on my list for a long time: White River Rafting! I have always wanted to do it but it never worked out, until last weekend. This time it worked out so perfect, it was worth the wait!  We were lucky to get a private tour guide who was the coolest dude, ever! He has been rafting for over 40 years, so his experience was unbeatable and it showed when we started rafting.  Our 10 mile trip took us over 6 hours because our tour guide made sure that we woul...

Icelandic Adventures

The Land of Ice awaits my arrival. Or so, I hope. I have dreamt of this for a long time. I'm so beyond excited to explore, yet another country. In just 11 short days, I will be getting on the plane, to depart for Iceland. I have so many things on my list that I would love to see, but so little time. With only 7 full days there, I'm torn to have to pick and choose which places I will have to miss this time. This trip is filled with exciting activities I've never done. I will be talking about each activity in a separate post after I experience it.  Iceland offers some of the most spectacular sceneries: endless waterfalls, volcanos, icebergs, farm houses, natural lagoons/hot-springs, ice caves just to name a few.  I’m also excited for the weather change. To wear a jacket, and gloves and a hat. Living in Florida for the passed 10 months made me really appreciate a little bit of that crisp air. I have been wearing nothing but dresses, so I’m excited for some la...

The Gamble of Packing

It's been a minute, or two. Oh wait, it's been over two months! I have been traveling around Europe, as I promised, and this experience has been so absolutely amazing.  Before I left, I did a little bit of research on traveling, but definitely not enough. I saw the phrase 'Pack Light' a million times. But how do I pack light for 3 months? Especially knowing that the weather will be anywhere between 55/rain and 100/humid. I have never experienced that much of a difference in climate, in such short period of time, therefore I was so overwhelmed with packing, that I just kept on putting everything in the bag.  By the time it was time to leave, my bag was around 35 pounds. But wait, I also decided that I need a rolling bag, which was around 11 pounds, and a small backpack around 4 pounds. So here I am with 50 pounds in my back , without a single clue of what I'm getting myself into. Within the first week I was ready to ditch 20 pounds of clothes because I rea...
