Some endings are much sweeter than others...

This is my beautiful cousin and her handsome husband. Picture credit goes to me :)  This goes perfect with my last post, because once you discover who you are... different doors will open for you. Cant go without telling you to Stay Classy My Friends <3

To date or not to date...

I missed this weekend of blogging due to my crazy schedule. My weekends are no where near the actual weekends. It always seems to be the busiest days out of the week for me.  Let me start of by saying I am about to tell you my "Carrie Bradshaw" story. If you know me, you already know my story, if you don't...Well... long story short: got dumped, had my heart shattered to a million, maybe ever three million, tiny pieces, hopeless, heartless, loveless... you get the point. Because of that I was forced to start these new discoveries of how I can make myself happy now. It's taking me a while to realize what I really want, who I really am, and who I really want to be. With these question I'm learning a lot about myself. Recently I started reading a book called "Date like a Man", the book isn't about just dating; it is about discovering the things I have been trying to about myself for the passed 3 months. This book has many little self discovering

We're only young...when we're young...

SO take advantage of it! Make memories. Be addicted to taking pictures because the moment will never, ever be repeated again. Don't regret what happen, learn from it. Make a better future and remember to take more pictures. It's never too many! Here is an example of my iPhoto that I had to delete because it was full (of course after transferring all of the pictures to external hard drive) And that is when you know you're living life to the fullest and enjoying it! Here is one of my favorite pictures from a recent photo shoot with Rich. To look at his insta, search @prevailingphotography Have a lot to do before work, so I must make this short. Thank you for following everyone! I'm a few view away from 500 in my first week <3 you all! Please email me if you want me to blog about something you're interested in. Until next time, and remember :) Stay Classy My Friends!!!

Yoga and Pilates

I'm not a fan of hot yoga. In fact, I hate it. I will not do it if you offer me a free membership. However, I love regular Yoga and Pilates. Yesterday I took a yoga class and today I spiced it up with Pilates. I like Pilates a little bit more than yoga because it's a little faster and a lot of abs! <3 As you all know, I'm working on my flexibility right now, so yoga is very beneficial. I want to share a few pictures with you of my yoga accomplishments. Im very proud of my skill and it is a lot easier to do than it looks. I start from downward dog, but on my elbows (as you can see) and walk my hands to my feet as close as I can. It's all abs so no need to push yourself up, slowly lift your legs with the strength of your core and find your balance in the air. Try next to a wall at first and see how well you can hold your balance up and continue practicing until you can stand on your own! Here is a video I just made at home, sorry

As promised..... Garlic Shrimp By Lala Koala

As I promised you a few days ago, I will tell you my secret shrimp recipe. Again, I don't have the exact proportions, nor do I have the time but with shrimp it's pretty easy to say when it's done.  This blog will be full of pictures since I did take a step by step picture as I was making it.  Step one! Put some music on! I chose pandora Benny Benassi radio.  Step Two: make sure you are organized and have all the ingredients out and ready to go! For my recipe I chose jumbo shrimp (but any shrimp works), bowl of milk, garlic, fresh lemon, fresh cilantro, parsley, smoked paprika, pam, and real lemon juice.  Step three: if you're shrimp are not deveined , make sure you do so! As you clean and devein the shrimp put them in the bowl of milk for 30min-1hour. Milk kind of kills that sea smell and softens the shrimp. Step four: while your shrimp are getting a milk bath you have time to prepare a bowl of "goodness". Get a bowl and cl

Breakfast...

I know it is a little late for breakfast update, but there is always tomorrow. :) I decided to have a fancy breakfast today, so I made me some scrabbled eggs and small red potatoes. What made it a little fancy is how I made the potatoes. I took about 3 small red potatoes and cut them into a "bite" size. I had my pan hot and ready to go, but once I put the potatoes in I turned the gas stove down (from hight to about 3). You want to make sure you don't burn the potatoes on the outside before they are done on the inside. I love to add random spices to my food when I cook and today I went with a sprinkle of parsley, a little it of smoked paprika, some basil and seasoning salt. When the potatoes were almost done I added some bacon ranch on top as well as some fresh cilantro, and cooked for another 2-4 minutes. And as always here is a picture of my creation. I don't have the exact portions because most of the time when I cook I make up my own recipe as I go. All of the thi

Day off...

Even though today is my day off, it definitely will not be a day of doing nothing. Since I have been sick, I've been putting off so many things. Ill start my day with a delicious cup of coffee, just to wake up. I got yoga at 12 followed by a bunch or errands.  It's been a while since I've done yoga. For the passed month I have been going to this dance studio, and I loved it. If it would only fit my schedule with school and work I would keep going. Here is a picture of one of the moves we did.  If you want to get in shape, and you have tried all the regular exercises, I would recommend trying something your muscles never tried before. I was sore everyday, after every class. So worth it tho. I want to learn to do splits and have been doing a few exercises from youtube videos, that I thought were helpful. Unfortunately I don't have time to practice as much as I should and want to, so it will probably take me forever. But when the day arrives I will make su

If you're still fighting the flu like I am...

I would suggest getting more liquids, full of vitamin C! While at the Farmers Market, I grabbed a bag of organic lemons and oranges. Later, I made some yummy tea with a few slices of lemons, which was very soothing. Oranges are also a great form of vitamin C, and I like mine as a mid day snack. Healthy and good for you. However, I did stop by a Ralphs today to get some more real meds and this was my purchase.   Some cough drops, so I don't annoy people around me with my cough. Some strawberry airborne to boost my vitamins level through out the day. As well as some night and day time meds. Since I do have a very busy life style and I'm always on the "go", I like the pill form for during the. However a dissolving form for my night time. After a long day I like to enjoy a hot cup of "lemony"tea, which by the way I also add slice of lemon to, before bed! Also, try to get a good rest of sleep! So if you are still sick, I hope this helps you! Lets fight this

Grocery Shopping..Organic Foods...and Saving Money..

Lets face it, we all go grocery shopping... Many of us choose to buy healthy and organic products, but that could get really expensive. So I looked into Farmers Market. In my area we have it Tuesdays and Sundays. Me and my roommate finally went yesterday, after months of saying we will, and I must tell you I was very glad I did. I got so many fruits and veggies for a very low price and let me tell you, I don't have to think twice, I know it's organic and fresh. For example I got half a dozen of eggs and small red potatoes for only 3.25!!! No grocery store can beat that!!!  Also I got some fresh Jumbo Shrimp <3 . I have a perfect recipe for shrimp, which I will share with you in a little bit. Speaking of fresh foods... A few months back I watched a documentary called "American Empire" if you can get your hands on that, take an hour and watch it. I liked it, I thought it was very educating, with a lot of great information in it. I actually got to meet the pe

Commercial shoot...

Hi everyone!!! Today I filmed my first commercial. It will be national, so soon you will see me on tv. I have been using this amazing product called "24 Clear it" and it really has cleared out my skin while making the complexion of it smoother, brighter and tighter! So I shared my testimony in front of the camera today. I mean, lets face it, who likes to talks about their problems and stuff that makes you feel uncomfortable? NObody!!! I almost did not take the job because I did not want to talk about my skin issues on a national television. However, once again, we got to start outside our comfort zone, so I did. Plus it was a great experience for me to be "doll up" by hair, make and wardrobe!   Here are a few more pictures from the behind the scenes!  Off to school I go. Winter break is over, first day back at it!!!  Remember, Stay Classy My Friends.<3

Making the real deal...

Speaking of real deals, Im so very happy for my boys! We once again made it to Championship!!!! As I mentioned before, trying something new is all it takes sometimes. If you've never done it then how do you know if it works for you or not? On another note, I will be filming my first commercial tomorrow!!! Im super excited and very nervous, since it is my very first time doing the real deal thing. I have done couple of short films for school projects, but this is way different! I will update you tomorrow if the commercial is national or local, but either way I'm sure it will end up on youtube.  Thank you for following my blog, Stay Classy My Friends :) <3

Sunday Football...

Who's got it better than us?! NOBODY. I wanted to share with you that I'm a 9ers fan and I'm getting up early to go watch the game. Im so excited and nervous for today's game, but my boys got this!!! #7 ILY! <3  As for the rest of the day... I'll catch u all up later... As always... Stay classy my friends :)

Fall/Winter

Wink Wink...

There is a reason I go by Lala Koala... I love to sleep. On my days off I sleep on average of 13 hours a day.. not quite as much as a koala but pretty damn close.  The reason I chose this picture is because I do not know how to wink! :(  However I'm learning to and one day I'm hoping to post a picture of me winking. But for now enjoy the koala.  Be safe everyone, and Stay Classy :)

Facebook world....

I wanted to let you all know that I do not have a Facebook and hoping that eventually all of my friends from there will discover this blog. The reason I deleted is was because it has become a negative, commercial web site where people complain (and I was one of them) about anything and everything and advertise too many things I don't care about. I want to live a happy life and enjoy every moment of it, and deleting Facebook has worked for me so far. I find myself complaining less about things, I shouldn't be complaining about in the first place. However, I do love my pictures and Im on Instagram @laasbella, so please follow me there for more photo updates. According to my own study, I have also confirmed (by asking people who still do use Facebook) that the only reason we post things on Facebook is to make people feel "sorry" for you or to get people jealous of what you're doing. Don't get me wrong, Im also guilty here because I did that PLENTY of times...

Good Morning Everyone

The flu season is at its finest this year. Got sick :( SO make sure to drink your vitamins. Im sure many of your already know this and love it, but I want to share my favorite form of vitamins. AIRBORNE! Berry or Lemon flavors are actually yummy and have much more than just vitamin C. P.S airborne is also one of my favorite drinks after a night drinking. It refills your body with vitamins and helps your day get going. Try it, let me know if that works for you as well. Speaking of night out....  If you are in Los Angeles, come out to Supperclub tonight. Me and some of my beautiful girl friends  are getting exposure for an upcoming clothing line "Hottest American". Stay Classy my friends.

Try something new...Something Different... Something outside your comfort zone...

While I'm building my future in film career, I got into modeling to get me a started. I never thought I can model, but that's because I made decisions on a front end of a task... As soon as I changed that many doors opened for me. Just remember, Its not about how you feel about it on front end, its how you feel about it after. Don't make decisions on a front end of a challenge, think of it whether it was worth it or not  when you're done with it.
