How Did I...?

Before I get to share my experience of all the countries that I visited this summer, I want to answer a question that I was asked many times: How did I afford the trip? Let’s start at the very beginning. It all happened about a year ago when I decided I want to go on this trip. A trip like this was always in the back of my head, I had thought about it so much. However, I didn't do much planning for it, even though I knew I wanted it. It was towards the end of the fall semester, sometime between November and December, when I was talking to my best friend/roommate about an adventurous trip I've been thinking about taking. I told her how I wanted to visit Europe and explore as much as I possibly could. At the end of our talk, she exclaims: “I’m down for a trip like that!” That’s when I knew that this trip was happening. We were officially going, but we had no plan! Where do we begin? We immediately started working more hours so that we could save up. We also started look

The Gamble of Packing

It's been a minute, or two. Oh wait, it's been over two months! I have been traveling around Europe, as I promised, and this experience has been so absolutely amazing.  Before I left, I did a little bit of research on traveling, but definitely not enough. I saw the phrase 'Pack Light' a million times. But how do I pack light for 3 months? Especially knowing that the weather will be anywhere between 55/rain and 100/humid. I have never experienced that much of a difference in climate, in such short period of time, therefore I was so overwhelmed with packing, that I just kept on putting everything in the bag.  By the time it was time to leave, my bag was around 35 pounds. But wait, I also decided that I need a rolling bag, which was around 11 pounds, and a small backpack around 4 pounds. So here I am with 50 pounds in my back , without a single clue of what I'm getting myself into. Within the first week I was ready to ditch 20 pounds of clothes because I rea

As of right now, only 5 of those are set in stone (top 5), so join me on this journey to see how it unfolds! As Always, Stay Classy My Friends <3

I call it the Koala Cocktail...

This will be a very short straight to point blog, about one thing only. I'm in the middle of finals, hopefully about to graduate...Therefore I don't have much time to blog. But I really, really wanted to share this with you. Recently I started expanding my taste buds and trying out new drinks.  Normally I like to have a beer or a glass of champagne, but both are pretty high carbonated and make me bloated. So when I'm at the pool that's a NO NO! So I decided to come up with my own cocktail, with ingredients that I love. In addition these ingredients are very refreshing.  So here it is: The Koala Cocktail : Muddle mint in the shaker,  Add ice.  1 oz of cucumber vodka (or regular vodka works too) 1/2 oz of St Germain Liqueur  Shake! Shake! Shake! Pour that beautiful creation in a martini glass Drum Rolls please!  Top off with Champagne! Wait! Another Drum Roll! Garnish with a few slices of baby cucumbers This is one refreshing, delicious, amazing and
